Warranty Policy

At MontVoo Rugs, we are committed to offering rugs and mats that are practical, comfortable, and made for everyday living. Our limited warranty is designed to protect customers against manufacturing and material defects under normal residential use, while also clearly defining what is considered normal wear, misuse, or damage outside of warranty coverage.

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from MontVooRugs or an authorized MontVooRugs sales channel.


Warranty Coverage

Indoor Rugs & Mats — 1-Year Limited Warranty

MontVooRugs indoor rugs and mats are covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers manufacturing or material defects that prevent the product from performing as intended under normal indoor residential use.

Covered issues may include:

  • Manufacturing defects present upon delivery
  • Material defects that affect normal product performance
  • Structural issues caused by production defects
  • Backing or surface defects not caused by misuse, improper care, or normal wear

Outdoor Rugs & Mats — 5-Year Fade Resistance Warranty

MontVooRugs outdoor rugs and mats include a 5-year limited fade resistance warranty from the date of delivery.

This warranty applies to significant fading caused by normal residential outdoor use when the rug is used in appropriate outdoor areas such as patios, porches, balconies, decks, entryways, and other standard residential outdoor spaces.

This fade resistance warranty is intended to cover abnormal or excessive fading under normal use. It does not mean the product will remain completely unchanged in color over time, as all outdoor products may experience some natural appearance changes due to sunlight, weather, usage, and environmental exposure.


Outdoor Rugs & Mats — 1-Year Manufacturing & Material Defect Warranty

In addition to the 5-year fade resistance coverage, MontVooRugs outdoor rugs and mats are also covered by a 1-year limited warranty for manufacturing or material defects from the date of delivery.

This includes qualifying defects related to materials, construction, or production that affect normal product performance under proper residential use.

Warranty Remedies

If a covered defect is confirmed, MontVooRugs may, at its sole discretion, provide one of the following solutions:

  • Replacement of the affected product
  • Refund
  • Store credit
  • Partial refund
  • Other reasonable solution based on the product condition and issue type

For minor defects that do not affect normal use, MontVooRugs may offer a partial refund or store credit instead of a full replacement.

If the same item is no longer available, MontVooRugs may offer a comparable item of equal or similar value.

The total warranty liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the affected item.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This limited warranty does not cover damage, appearance changes, or performance issues caused by normal use, misuse, improper care, accidents, or conditions outside of the product’s intended purpose.

Exclusions include, but are not limited to:

  • Normal wear and tear from daily use
  • Stains, spills, soiling, or discoloration caused by food, drinks, chemicals, cosmetics, oils, or household products
  • Pet-related damage, including scratching, chewing, clawing, accidents, odors, or excessive pulling
  • Damage caused by improper cleaning methods, bleach, harsh chemicals, abrasive tools, or unsuitable detergents
  • Damage caused by failure to follow care instructions
  • Burns, cuts, tears, pulls, snags, punctures, or damage caused by sharp objects
  • Damage caused by flooding, prolonged moisture, mold, mildew, or improper drying
  • Damage caused by extreme weather, storms, excessive water retention, or abnormal environmental exposure
  • Damage caused by improper storage, folding, placement, or installation
  • Damage caused by using the product for an unintended purpose
  • Products used in commercial, rental, event, or high-traffic business environments
  • Products used in areas regularly exposed to wheels, rolling furniture, heavy equipment, or dragging furniture
  • Minor color, texture, size, or pattern variations from product photos or samples
  • Color differences caused by screen settings, lighting, photography, or production batch variation
  • Temporary creases, fold marks, or packaging marks that improve with normal use and proper flattening
  • Slight shedding, loose fibers, or minor surface changes that are considered normal for rugs and mats
  • Any product that has been altered, cut, modified, or repaired by the customer or a third party
  • Any damage reported after the applicable warranty period has expired

Fade Resistance Warranty Limitations

The 5-year fade resistance warranty for outdoor rugs and mats applies only to significant fading under normal residential outdoor use.

This warranty does not cover fading, discoloration, or surface changes caused by:

  • Chemical exposure
  • Bleach or harsh cleaning products
  • Improper washing or cleaning
  • Prolonged moisture or standing water
  • Mold, mildew, or trapped humidity
  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Fire, heat damage, or abnormal sun exposure
  • Stains, spills, dirt buildup, or environmental residue
  • Improper storage when not in use
  • Use in commercial or non-residential settings

Some natural color softening or appearance change may occur over time with outdoor use and is not considered a defect.

Proof of Purchase

To submit a warranty claim, customers must provide valid proof of purchase.

This may include:

  • Order number
  • Purchase receipt
  • Email confirmation
  • Photos or videos showing the issue
  • Clear description of the problem

MontVooRugs reserves the right to request additional photos, videos, or information to evaluate the claim.

Warranty Claim Review

All warranty claims are reviewed by the MontVooRugs customer service team.

The review process may consider:

  • Purchase date
  • Product type
  • Product condition
  • Photos or videos provided
  • Care and usage history
  • Whether the issue falls within warranty coverage
  • Whether the product was used according to care instructions

Warranty approval is not automatic. MontVooRugs reserves the right to determine whether an issue qualifies as a covered defect.

Non-Transferable Warranty

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Products purchased secondhand, resold, gifted without proof of purchase, or purchased from unauthorized sellers may not be eligible for warranty coverage.

Care Responsibility

Proper care is essential to maintaining the appearance and performance of your rug or mat.

Customers are responsible for following MontVooRugs care instructions, including proper cleaning, drying, placement, and storage. Failure to follow care instructions may void warranty coverage.

For outdoor rugs and mats, we recommend keeping the rug clean, allowing it to dry fully after heavy rain or cleaning, and storing it properly during extreme weather or long periods of non-use.

Limitation of Liability

MontVooRugs is not responsible for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages related to the use, removal, installation, cleaning, replacement, or disposal of a product.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Damage to floors, furniture, or surrounding property
  • Labor, installation, or removal costs
  • Cleaning service fees
  • Loss of use
  • Personal injury
  • Any costs beyond the original purchase price of the affected item

The maximum liability under this warranty shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected product.

  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos or videos of the affected area
  • Photos of the full rug or mat
  • Any relevant care or usage details
